I worked in hotels for a few years after graduating from Penn State University with a Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management degree (I graduated with fellow planner, Steph!). Although my time in hotels did not last long, my love for them did – especially Disney hotels! I have visited and/or stayed at every single Walt Disney World hotel except for two(Fort Wilderness & Old Key West) – a bucket list goal of mine is to eventually stay at every one!
What is your first memory of Disney World?
I do not remember much from my first trip to WDW as I was only a toddler. However, I have so many core memories from my 2nd trip when I was about 6 years old. I can vividly remember running around the Waterfall Garden with my cousins in Polynesian lobby, riding around the monorail to the Grand Floridian, Contemporary, & Magic Kingdom (“Please stand clear of the doors..”), and I will never forget my Poppop asking for ketchup at Whispering Canyon Cafe for the first time(If you know, you know…).
What does a perfect day in a Disney park look like to you?
My perfect park day starts with rope dropping Animal Kingdom – I would ride Flight of Passage, Kilimanjaro Safari, Everest and Dinosaur. In between riding my favorite rides, I would make stops at the Dawa Bar, Nomad Lounge, & Flame Tree BBQ (for the greatest pulled pork & mac and cheese). After Animal Kingdom, I would head straight for Epcot – Soarin, Cosmic Rewind, & eating/drinking my way around the world are all musts. I would end my day at the Polynesian Resort(my all time favorite) to get Dole Whip and to watch Magic Kingdom’s fireworks from the beach.
What would you say you specialize in with your planning? What makes you stand out from anyone else?
Planning for Disney can be overwhelming – my specialty is ensuring that each traveler has a stress free planning experience. With my attention to detail, passion for all things Disney, and insight from my own travel experiences – I can help each traveler plan a perfect trip based around their wants, needs, & budget.
